Gayle has called the Columbia area home for over 35 years and brings unmatched knowledge of the community and its neighborhoods. Born into a military family, she settled in Columbia in 1989 and later earned her degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
She and her husband, Michael, have a blended family with a son in college and a daughter in elementary school. They live in Blythewood, are active members of Shandon Baptist Church, avid Gamecock fans, and love entertaining friends and family—whether it’s gathering around the
table to share great food or hosting celebrations in their home.
